AdvocacyThe purpose of Volunteers of America Delaware Valley's Public Policy office is to respond to action or inaction by government agencies regarding issues or policies that will impact our clients, program and staff. The following documents can be downloaded:
March 26, 2008 Action AlertNew Jersey Governor Corzine wants to consolidate state services by eliminating the Department of Agriculture and merging the existing divisions into other state departments. This elimination has the potential to negatively impact the state economy as well as those we serve via the Food and Nutrition Programs. Here is how you can help: 1) Open the attached letter and insert your personal information where indicated. Print the letter and send it to your state representative and Governor Corzine. 2) Call your state representative and the Governor. 3) Email your state representative and the Governor.
