Donald Ostberg

Donald Ostberg is the Vice President of Technology for Volunteers of America Delaware Valley.  Upon joining the company in 1999, he created the Information Technology Department, relating the technical budget and technical strategic plans for the company.  The Information Technology department is responsible for maintaining over 500 networked terminals, computers, printers, telephone systems, copier and fax machines as well as oversees the operation of business applications throughout the organization.

Don has over 20 years of professional IT experience translating business requirements into productive technical solutions.  Currently, he is successfully providing company-wide technical strategic planning, technical budget management, project management for multiple high profile technical projects and overall direction of the information technology function for the organization making sure that it operates in a manner that best supports the organization's goals, mission and objectives. In addition to his normal duties, he is the HIPAA Security Officer working with the diverse divisions to guarantee compliance.

He recently served the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency Collaborative Advisory Council as a technical advisor in the development of application operation standards for the State of New Jersey Homeless Management Information System.
