LEAVENHOUSE TO HOST BREAKFAST ON MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY
Leavenhouse in Camden, NJ is inviting the community to a breakfast on Martin Luther King Day. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, January 19 at Leavenhouse, 644 State Street in North Camden.As part of the “Day of Service” component of the holiday, “we are collecting donations of gloves, mittens, hats, and scarves for children and adults, and we will be distributing these items to the homeless in the community,” said Leavenhouse program director Robin Jefferson.
“We want to let the North Camden neighborhood and the entire community know that we are here to help,” Jefferson said.
Donations can be dropped off during business hours at 644 State Street. For information, call 856-225-1491.
