Our Chaplain

Reverend Crystal Snowden has been employed for over 18 years with Volunteers of America Delaware Valley, serving in many capacities. She was commissioned a minister of Volunteers of America in June of 1997 and ordained in June of 1998. Upon ordination, a new position was created for her as Chaplain and she now oversees the Ministerial Services Department providing such services as counseling, ministry resources, mentoring, overseer of affiliate ministers and pastoral care. Crystal served for four years on the Willingboro Clergy Association as secretary; and served on Volunteers of America's National Ecclesiastic Board of Directors since 1991.

Reverend Crystal Snowden helps to develop and train ministers in our affiliate as well as deepen the sense of community at Volunteers of America Delaware Valley. Reverend Snowden provides both spiritual guidance and knowledge-based resources to clients, staff, and other ministers related to meeting their spiritual needs.
