Steve ShultzCo-Vice President of Public Policy
Steve Shultz is Co-Vice President of Public Policy for Volunteers of America Delaware Valley, and is responsible for tracking legislative and regulatory priorities for the agency. Focusing primarily on New Jersey, he monitors important issues and political trends that could positively or negatively affect Volunteers of America Delaware Valley's mission of service. Prior to joining the agency, Steve served as South Jersey Director to U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg. There, he handled a wide range of issues affecting the region including environment, transportation, energy, appropriations, and homeland security. Steve previously served as Legislative Policy Director to N.J. Assemblyman Louis Greenwald. In that position, he focused on budget and appropriations, property taxes, auto insurance, and health care. Steve earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Rutgers University. He is active in his hometown and throughout South Jersey, and has worked and volunteered on many successful political campaigns at the local, county, state, and federal levels. Born and raised in Camden County, he lives in Pine Hill with his wife and son.
